Other people's addiction and/or mental illness

We expect our loved ones to consider us in their actions, their ideas, their intentions, their hopes.  And sometimes they do.  This page is

about when they don't think about how their addictions and behaviors negatively impact others.  When this happens one can feel

frustrated, hurt, incensed, and/or angry.  We make plans for them to make a first step toward responsibility.

Deep down, we know we can change them, right?  There has to be a way to make them want to be better?  We try to control them with our voices, shaming, money, and so on and help them be better.

Sometimes it works for a while....sometimes it doesn't even work at all.

If this is you, perhaps you would like to schedule a session with me.
